About Prashanti

“ I love to blend my knowledge of yoga, guided imagery, expressive arts, and somatics in the work I do with clients. I help them to discover and reclaim the best parts of themselves - parts that may have been lost, discarded, or devalued. Integrating these parts into our personalities allows us to live from our authentic self - a place of joy, peace, and surrender, where harmonious relationships develop naturally and easily.

Under her business name, Maria Miller, LMFT, she has maintained a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for 22 years, helping her clients heal from eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions.

More about Prashanti Devi

In my early 20's I was filled with anger, resentment, loneliness, and dissatisfaction. I struggled to connect with others because I was so full of shame and self rejection. Life felt very painful. I was plagued with depression and anxiety. I so yearned for a different experience. I yearned to experience joy, gratitude, and love. To experience life with ease and grace, to feel fulfilled and supported, loved and nourished. It wasn't until I realized that I am the Creator of my life and took total responsibity for my actions and reactions that my life began to transform. It was painful and I had few guides, so it took many years and much inner work. I now live my life in deep contentment, gratitude and joy. I want to share with you the tools and skills I've learned along the way - tools and skills I use daily and that I teach my meditation students and clients. I look forward to guiding you to your fullest, juiciest life. We can all discover and deepen our connection to the Healing Wisdom Within our own hearts.”

How I Work

My style is warm, direct, and compassionate. I provide a comforting, nurturing space for you to express and discover the healing wisdom within yourself.
